Instagram Down: Instagram stalled, thousands of users are not able to send direct messages.

New Delhi. Social media platform Instagram has suddenly come to a standstill. Instagram’s Direct Message (DM) feature was down for thousands of users around the world. According to outage checking website Downdetector, this problem started at 5:14 pm and many users reported problems in sending messages.

DownDetector’s data is based on reports submitted by users. The actual number of affected users may differ. So far, more than 2,000 reports have been filed, indicating significant issues with the Meta-owned photo-sharing platform. Affected Instagram users are taking to other social media platforms to express their disappointment.

The company has not yet issued a statement
There has been no official statement yet from Instagram or its parent company Meta, but it seems that the problem is still ongoing. The reason for the technical problems is not yet known.
