Age limit and educational qualification
The minimum age to apply for these jobs is 14 years and maximum age is 18 years. For non-industrial training institute trade related jobs, it is necessary to pass 8th class. Candidates looking for jobs related to Forgers and Heat Treaters department must have passed 10th class.
physical needs
In the physical requirement section, the height of the candidate should not be less than 150 cm and weight should not be less than 45 kg. The chest of the candidate should not be less than 5 cm after inflation. Also the eye vision rate should be 6/6 to 6/9.
Selection Process
Candidates are required to qualify a written test and those who succeed in qualifying it will be shortlisted for the interview round. Interview will be the final round of the selection process. Selected candidates will be given a stipend of Rs 7700-8050 per month.
Furthermore, to be selected in the Indian Navy, proficiency level in Mathematics is required. Be it at the intermediate level or after graduation degree, candidates cannot appear for the Indian Navy exam without expertise in Mathematics. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects to join the Indian Army.
