The game currently lacks a dedicated macOS client, so the game can be played on Mac using a program like Crossover. But players using this solution are getting their accounts blocked. Players have also claimed that they faced a 100-year ban for searching how to run the Windows version of the game on macOS. Let us tell you that Marvel Rivals is also available on Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S console.
Players who have faced the ban say that after logging into the game, they are getting a message in which it is written that fine is issued due to violation. These players have faced account suspension after being labeled as ‘cheating’ by this game.

why is this happening
Actually, an anti-cheat software is used in Marvel Rivals, which detects any cheating tool or other type of cheating methods. Since players are using Crossover to run the game on macOS instead of Windows, the software may have mistakenly flagged it as suspicious activity.
According to a report by AppleInsider, CodeWeavers CEO James Remy said that the company is in contact with NetEase Games to resolve the issue and they are looking for a solution that will help macOS players access the game.
