The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the reopening of the online application process chartered accountants final and Post Qualification Course (PQC) examinations, including the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Exam and the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT-AT).
Applicants can access the exam application link on the official website of ICAI at icai.org.
The ICAI notification said that students can submit the application form. The notification further states that this campaign is a one-time measure and is only for a special case.
“The ICAI has revised its exam schedule for Intermediate and Foundation exams, which will now be held thrice a year instead of twice earlier. This change has resulted in a reduction in the marks required in the exams. Online Application The duration for the September 2024 exams has been reduced from 28 to 17 days. The adjustment is aimed at ensuring timely conduct of various exam-related processes, such as finalising exam centres, evaluating answer sheets and prompt declaration of results. The same shorter application window also applies for the Final and PQC exams scheduled for November 2024,” the notification reads.
Students should note that this time limit of 17 days for filling up the online examination application form will be applicable for all the upcoming Chartered Accountants examinations and students are expected to strictly adhere to the time limit for filling up the examination application form.
ICAI had already informed prospective candidates about the upcoming changes on July 18, 2024, to give them enough time to prepare and submit their applications. Going forward, the 17-day application window will be applicable for all ICAI ExamsAnd students are advised to adhere to this deadline while submitting their forms.
