India’s Chartered Accountant Institute (ICAI) on Friday officially announced the examination schedule for efforts of September 2025 on its official site for efforts of CA Foundation, Intermediate and September 2025.
ICAI announced on 30 May 2025 through an official circular.
Based on the number of candidates appearing for the examination, the board will conduct the examination in various centers across the country.
Here is the full schedule:
Last course exam dates:
Group I: 3, 6, and 8 September 2025
Group II: 10, 12, and 14 September 2025
Intermediate course exam dates:
Group I: 4, 7, and 9 September 2025
Group II: 11, 13, and 15 September 2025
Foundation course exam dates:
Foundation Papers: 16, 18, 20, and 22 September 2025
Among other details, ICAI said that No exam is scheduled on September 5, 2025 (Friday), due to Milad Un Nabi, a gazetted central government holiday
ICAI said, “There will be no change in the examination schedule in the examination schedule, any day of the examination will be declared a public holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Bodies.”
ICAI provided more information about the exam duroN: Most of the papers will run from 3 hours (2 pm to 5 pm to IST), while the final examination paper will run from 6 4 hours (2 pm to IST).
The papers 3 and 4 will have two hours in each. Candidates will have a 15-minute advance reading from 1:45 pm to 2:00 pm, except 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination and MCQ-based sections added ICAI.
ICAI advised the candidates to check the detailed examination schedule on the official ICAI website and start their preparation accordingly.
