Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the preliminary exam result 2024 today, December 3, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download their IBPS SO scorecard from the official website, ibps.in. Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to check their score.
Steps to download IBPS SO Result 2024
Step 1: Visit the official IBPS website- ibps.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads IBPS SO Prelims Result
Step 3: Enter your registration number and password on the newly opened page
Step 4: Click on Submit and your IBPS SO Result 2024 will appear on the screen
Step 5: Now download and take printout for future reference.
IBPS SO Prelims Exam 2024 was held on 9th November 2024 for two hours. The exam paper consisted of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
IBPS SO Result 2024: What’s next?
Those who clear the exam will have to appear in the next main exam, which is scheduled to be held this month. The results of the main examination will be declared in January/February 2025. Selected candidates will have to appear for the interview round which will be conducted in February/March 2025 and the provisional allotment list will be out in April 2025.
Candidates for IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) posts are selected through two levels of examination: an online preliminary examination and an online main examination followed by an interview.
Online Preliminary Examination: Candidates have to first qualify the online preliminary examination to get shortlisted for the next stage.
Online Main Examination: Shortlisted candidates from the preliminary examination will proceed for the online main examination.
General Interview: Those who qualify the online main examination will be invited for a common interview, which will be conducted by the participating banks and coordinated by the nodal bank.
