Ministry of Home Affairs, Intelligence Bureau (MHA, IB) has started the online application process for the recruitment of 3,717 Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II/Executive posts. The registration will end on August 10, 2025. Those who are interested and eligible can apply for a post on the official website on mha.gov.in or ncs.gov.in.

IB ACIO Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: Candidates will have to complete a graduate from any recognized university or equivalent. They should also have good knowledge of computer.
Age limit: Candidates seeking the post should be between the ages of 18 to 27 by August 10, 2025.
IB ACIO Recruitment 2025: Examination Fee
Candidates applying for the post will have to pay the recruitment fee of Rs 550 and Rs 100 in addition to the recruitment processing fee for male candidates falling under the unreserved (UR), economically weak section (EWS), and other backward class (OBC) categories.
IB ACIO Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process includes three stages-Tier-I (objective), Tier-II (descriptive), and interview. The Tier I exam will have 100 objective type MCQ, which will be divided into 5 parts of 20 questions of each 1 digit. Current Affairs, General Studies, Numerical Qualification, Logic/Logical Qualification and questions will be asked. For each wrong answer, one-fourth one point will be deducted. The exam will be conducted for one hour.
Tier-II will include a descriptive type of paper of 50 digits. It will include essay (20 marks), English understanding (10 marks) and long answer types of questions (current affairs, economics, socio-political issues (20 marks).
Those who clean both rounds will have to appear for the interview that will have 100 points.
IB ACIO Recruitment 2025: Pay Description
Candidates selected for the posts may expect salary ranging from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400.
