Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand from today i.e. 16th May. With this heat wave alert, it is important to take extra care of your health.
Here are some essential summer care tips that should be followed
1. Hydration is key: Make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day. A good amount of 8-10 glasses or 2 liters of water per day is essential, and increase your intake if you are sweating a lot.
2. Skin and Hair: Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher before going out. Also use a light, oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. 5. Exercise in summer season: Exercise is important regardless of the season, as it keeps you active and motivated. In summer, it is best to avoid high intensity exercise. Instead, opt for activities like swimming, aqua yoga or indoor sports. This will not only help you stay cool but will also keep you healthy.
Apart from care tips, it is also important to pay attention to the signs and symptoms of heat-related illnesses such as fainting, seizures, irritability, headache, excessive sweating, weakness or dizziness, rapid breathing, nausea and vomiting.
