SZA opened up about her transformative experience at the Isha Foundation, completing an intensive sobriety program and praising the musical talent of the students.
Grammy-winning artist SZA shared an emotional Instagram post about her transformative experience at the Isha Foundation event in Tamil Nadu.
Along with a series of before-and-after photos, she wrote, “Life is so deep, chaotic and beautiful. I have no words for my sobriety experience. No phone, no mirror, no eye contact for 8+ days (these pictures are before and after the event)..for a primal yapper I lost my mind.then found it. “A lot of tremendous information came back between the state of the world and my personal/professional life.”
He added, “But somehow it’s all being dealt with quietly and loudly at the same time. Infinite thanks to @isha.foundation @sdhguru @chekothari and every Isha volunteer who took care of my mother and me. My love for this process and this life is indescribable. Namaskaram.”
This isn’t SZA’s first visit to the Isha Foundation. She previously visited the ashram in 2021 and talked about its lasting impact on her life.
During her recent visit, SZA was particularly impressed by the musical performance by the students of Sadhguru Gurukulam Sanskriti, a school run by Isha Foundation. The school emphasizes holistic education, integrating academics with subjects such as yoga, martial arts, music and dance.
Sharing a video of the performance, SZA described her emotional reaction, saying, “The scales, the harmonies, the running…crazy…they brought me to tears.” He hinted at incorporating the music into his future projects, writing, “I’ve already asked to sample it and sent it to the production gang.”
Established in 1992, Isha Foundation through its programs and initiatives attracts people from all over the world who seek spiritual growth and well-being.
