Being in a relationship not only means that you get to be with each other through better and harder days, but also watch your partner change over time. However, there are very few people who will change themselves for someone else. In this case, a Malaysian GF was proud to see how her Brazilian BF went from saying no to Malaysian food to becoming a huge fan of it. This girl from Malaysia has shared her story on social media.
In a post on Malaysian social site Jiao Hong Shu, Jamie shared photos of her Brazilian boyfriend Davey enjoying various Malaysian food at different places. According to Jamie, when Davy came to Malaysia from Brazil, his biggest concern was about the food here. Malaysians eat spicy things, whereas Brazilians prefer non-spicy foods. But the tables turned. Initially Dewey considered Malaysian food strange, but now he cannot live without Malaysian food.
Davy has started eating many local foods from toast to roti canai with great enthusiasm. Speaking to Malaysian social site World of Buzz, Jamie said that he initially gave Davy spicy Indomie, which is less spicy. Jamie said, “In the beginning he definitely couldn’t accept the food here. He was judging me for eating half boiled eggs. This was disgusting to him. But now he himself enjoys eating like this.” In her comment on the social site, the girl has written that both of them met in America.
Let us tell you that Davy, who has been living with Jamie for about one and a half years, initially felt that most of the foods here were not tasty but rather strange. However, later gradually Davy started eating Malaysian foods, which he started liking. Jamie has uploaded many of his pictures on social media. Let us tell you that traditional foods are very much liked in Malaysia, which also includes many strange things. Apart from noodles and Maggi, people here also eat foods made from insects like grasshoppers and crickets.
