Soak seeds for intestinal health overnight

On May 15, Dr. Saurabh shared a video in which he talked about 2 seeds, which he consumes as a gastroenterologist for his intestine health every morning. There are two seeds of chia and basil (also known as Sabaza). He also shared the right way to consume seeds. He said, “I soak a tablespoon of each night every night and consume them the next morning.”

1. Chia seed

Dr. According to Sethi, chia seeds absorb their weight up to 12 times their weight in water, creating a gel that supports digestion and regular bowel movements.

2. Basil seeds

Meanwhile, basil or sabja seeds act as a natural coolant for our body. He said that they also reduce inflammation and are filled with fiber content, which is ‘food for our intestine microbiome’.
