The Swift hatchback was first introduced in 2005 and by 2013, 10 lakh units were sold. Just 5 years later, in 2018, this number doubled to 20 lakh. Now currently, Swift is in its fourth generation and has achieved sales of 30 lakh units since its launch.
What is the price of new Swift?
The fourth generation Swift was launched in India this year and is currently available at a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Swift features an all-new 1.2-litre engine with better mileage and more comfort and safety features.
