Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman has spoken out about her relationship with Matthew Perry, who died in October last year. A new investigation has been launched into the case.
Last year, the untimely death of Friends actor Matthew Perry shocked everyone around the world. In the wake of new investigations into his death from a drug overdose, Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman told The Times how we can make sure the actor’s legacy is celebrated amid all this. What Marta said about Matthew Perry
“He’s the one person I’ve had the most contact with,” Marta said in the beloved show’s new 30th anniversary story, EW reports. “That was about two weeks ago.” [he died] He and I were FaceTiming and he seemed really nice.”
He further said, “Two things come to my mind [about how to celebrate him]One of them is to donate to a drug treatment center – let’s fight the disease. And the other way is to watch Friends and remember him not as someone who died like that, but as someone who was a lot of fun and brought joy to everyone.”

The 54-year-old Hollywood star was found dead in a hot tub at his Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles on October 28, 2023. The autopsy report revealed that he died due to the “acute effects of ketamine.”
Over the past few days, several arrests have been made in Southern California in connection with the actor’s death, including at least one doctor and several drug dealers. So far, five individuals have been accused of profiting off the actor’s addiction, including Jasveen Sangha (41), Dr. Salvador Plascencia (42), the late actor’s live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa (59), Dr. Mark Chaveux (54), another licensed medical doctor, and Eric Fleming (54).
