West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took another jib in the Election Commission of India on August 28, stating that the pole body should stop working as a ‘lollipop’.
Mamta Banerjee attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi-Left Central Government on the ongoing special intensive amendment (SIR) in Pol-Bound Bihar.
“This is a ‘Lollipop Sarkar’. They are trying to threaten BDO, SDO, DM, and police. They are saying that they will either quit their jobs or put them in jail. ECI comes and goes, but the state government lives. Bengal CM said, addressed a gathering on the occasion of TMol Chatara Parishad (TMCP) Foundation Day in Kolkata.
Mamta Banerjee’s comments came in Bihar amidst a political line and legal issues about Sir practice. The Election Commission has suggested that the practice will be held elsewhere. While Bihar is going to vote later this year, assembly elections are scheduled in West Bengal next year.
“On one side, the BJP is; on the other hand, we have their friend, to the left.
The Trinumool Congress chief also launched a scary attack on the BJP on brother -in -law in politics, claiming that the ruling party itself was involved in it.
“They talk about the politics of the dynasty. What about your son Amit Shah? Who is the ICC President? Is it not the politics of the dynasty? Ask them how many members of his family are catching bureaucratic positions in different states! We do not give lollipops; we ensure democratic rights,” he said.
CM Mamta also said that the people of Bengal will not “tolerate” the torture of the poor by ‘branding’ as Bangladeshis.
It suits children for lollipop, but it does not suit ECI to act like lollipops.
“During the Partition of Bangladesh, the People’s Language Bungalow, which is why they speak in the bungalow … BJP is doing a survey by bringing a 500 -member team to remove the name from the electoral role. Do not share their documents with them. Because they are planning to collect your documents and remove their names from the voter list. It is a mandatory ID because it is a mandatory letter as it is a mandatory IDI”
