Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde called Uddhav Thackeray a “conspiracy head”, who politically ends his own party cadre after organizing a Dussehra rally on 2 October after the Shiv Sena (UBT) head.
Speaking at the Shiv Sena’s annual Dashera rally, Eknath Shinde said, “I suspect if his shadow would be with him after the local body elections,” as he announced that his party would be contesting as part of the Maharashtra alliance in the local body elections in Maharashtra. He said, “The Mahayati alliance has to win the Mumbai civic body pole for the progress and development of the city,” he said.
Uddhav Thackeray also addressed a Dussehra rally today and targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state and said that his party would issue a white paper that would highlight the BJP’s alleged “loot” of the BJP of the Bhanambhi Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Talking about his alliance with cousin Raj Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray said the two sides had come together to “live together”.
He also targeted the BJP on the arrest of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk in connection with violence in Ladakh last month and said that the fight for rights and justice is becoming a task of treason in the country.

Wangchuk was held after the violence, during a shutdown called by Leh Apex Body (LAB) on 24 September, to pursue the conversation with the Center on the demand for the sixth schedule for Ladakh, due to the deaths of four persons and the injuries of 80 others including 80 others, including 80 police personnel.
Wangchuk was detained under the National Security Act (NSA) on 26 September and is currently registered in a jail in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Uddhav Thackeray also demanded loan exemption for farmers colliding with rain in Maharashtra, 50,000 assistance per hectare. On Rahul Gandhi’s “vote theft”, he swipe in the BJP, stating that the Center has money to “buy votes in Bihar”, but there is no one to support the farmers.
