New Delhi. Hero MotoCorp has recently launched the updated model of its Xtreme 160R 4V bike in the Indian market. This bike has been given more attractive paint and body graphics than the old model. The basic design has been retained in the new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, but now it is coming with a new Kevlar brown paint scheme, which has black and bronze accents.
The bike also has new body graphics, while the previous color options – Neon Shooting Star and Matte Slate Black have also been continued. Apart from this, new features like dual channel ABS, panic brake alert, drag timer have also been added to the bike, which has made this bike one of the advanced bikes in its segment. What is the price?
The 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is priced at ₹ 1,38,500 and goes up to ₹ 1,39,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its price has increased by ₹ 4,000 compared to the older model. It is now available in just one fully loaded variant called ‘Premium’.
What are the new features?
The 2024 Xtreme 160R 4V features several significant changes, such as dual-channel ABS, panic brake alert system and a drag timer that measures 0-60 kmph and quarter-mile sprint time. Additionally, the new model features a single-piece seat that is flat and low for better pillion comfort, unlike the split seats found in the previous models.
The MY2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V has been fitted with a new digital speedometer with 300% more brightness for better visibility. Along with this, the bike also gets a redesigned headlight and taillight.
The motorcycle gets USD forks at the front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear, and braking power is provided by disc brakes on both sides. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.
2024 Xtreme 160R 4V Engine
There is no change in the engine of the new Hero Extreme 160 4V. This bike is coming with a 4 valve 163.2 cc single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine as before, which generates 16.6 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
