Prayagraj: Now Prayagraj will also become another city of Uttar Pradesh, where double decker electric buses will run on the roads. After the capital Lucknow, this big step has been taken towards promoting environmentally friendly transport. The operation of these state-of-the-art e-buses was to be first to be started during the Mahakumbh, but it was stopped due to the root determination and low height of the under bridge.

At present, two major routes have been fixed in Prayagraj, where they will be run. The first will be from Prayagraj Airport to Civil Lines Bus Stand while the second route will be from Govindpur to Chhiwki railway station.
Actually, earlier there was a plan that these settlements would be run to the railway station, but due to lack of space and heavy traffic there, the route was changed. The new routes have been decided keeping in mind the convenience of passengers and traffic status.

The biggest feature of these double-decker e-bass is that these are environmentally friendly electric buses, which will help in reducing pollution. Their two -storey design has the ability to carry more passengers. These settled major educational institutions, hostels and crowded areas will be connected, which will make it easier for students and common passengers to move. The delay was done due to these reasons
These buses were to be started during Mahakumbh itself, but there was difficulty in determining the route. In many places, the movement of buses was not possible due to the height of the railway under bridge. This is the reason that both these double-decker e-bass were standing in the roadways workshop in Rajapur for the last two months. Later, the Roadways Department surveyed the routes and then a new route from Govindpur to Chivki station and airport to civil lines was fixed.
