When you’re on the road and need a quick snack, it’s better to combine healthy drinkable meals instead of fast food. Dr. Sunita Nagpal, gynecologist and general practitioner at Cellubritas Medcentre, suggests, “After consuming mixed food, the metabolism is faster than normal because a lot of fluid is consumed. “This increases energy, speeds up digestion and improves the ability to concentrate.” Protein shakes, vegetable smoothies or soups without sugar are some examples of nutritious and healthy drinks.

Health risks associated with liquid diet

While nutrients like protein can be consumed through liquids, the body also needs fatty acids found in whole foods and fiber, which can be difficult to consume in liquid form.
