During a surgery that goes strangely wrong, the patient suffers cardiac arrest and dies, leaving everyone in shock. This shocking incident triggers an investigation against Yeo Jeong Woo, bringing him to the brink of losing everything he has worked so hard for.
On the other hand, Nam Ha Neul suffers from serious health problems, constantly having to bear the brunt of the prejudice of her superiors, who constantly ignore her, even though she excels. Despite his best efforts, he faces criticism and is dismissed. Despite being a top performer, she often finds herself on the edge, reaching a point where she contemplates the idea of giving up and feels that life is losing its color.
