Delhi air pollution: Delhi University on Monday said classes will be conducted in online mode till November 23 Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi and NCR. Reached worrying levels.

As per the new instructions, offices under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will function from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and offices under the Government of NCT Delhi (GNCTD) will function from 10:00 am to 6 pm . :30 pm.
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court directed all Delhi-NCR states to immediately constitute teams to strictly enforce the anti-pollution GRAP 4 restrictions, making it clear that the restrictions will continue till further orders.
The court said that it is the constitutional duty of all states to ensure that all citizens live in a pollution-free environment.
“We make it clear that until further orders are passed by this court, its implementation will continue Step 4 of GRAP This will continue even if the AQI level goes below 450,” a bench of Justices Abhay S Oka and Augustine George Masih directed and sought compliance reports from the Delhi-NCR states and the Center by Thursday.
It also blamed the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) for “delay” in the implementation of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) and said it adopted the “wrong” approach.
