The government first provided luxury facilities and high-speed rail to the passengers by running Vande Bharat train between the two cities. Then Delhi-Mumbai Expressway was also started, which currently goes till Jaipur. Now preparations are on to run electric buses on this route, which will be the first project of its kind in the country. Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has also announced this.

If the Union Minister is to be believed, work on this project can start soon. There will be neither shocks nor noise or pollution in these electric buses running on the road. Not only this, the travel time between the two cities will also reduce by two-thirds. Currently it takes 5 to 6 hours to travel by road. At the same time, if you travel by electric bus, this time will reduce to only 2 hours. This means that Jaipur can be reached from Delhi in just 2 hours.

Nitin Gadkari said that the fare of this electric bus will be 30 percent less than the currently running diesel-petrol buses. Not only this, passengers will also get luxury facilities like flights in it. Business class will also be made in this bus, where tea-snack facilities will also be provided to the passengers. Overall, the journey from Delhi to Jaipur will not only be comfortable but will also be completed quickly.

Where will these buses run
Nitin Gadkari told in a program that the expressway from Delhi to Jaipur is ready. Along with this, we are also preparing to build an electric highway. Work on this will also start soon. Once the track of electric buses is ready, then 3 buses will be linked together and run on it, just like a metro train. All three buses will be interconnected and one of them will be provided with facilities like business class.

How did you get the idea?
Gadkari told that a few days ago he had gone to the European country Prague. There, cables were seen hanging above the road on which electric buses were running. After coming back, he talked to the engineer about this and put forward the idea of ​​building an electric highway between Delhi-Jaipur. The work is not very difficult and its implementation will start soon.
