New Delhi. Excellent sales have been seen in the electric two-wheeler segment (Electric Scooter Sales October 2024) in October 2024. This festive season almost all electric two-wheeler companies got good benefits. Especially Ola Electric has once again made its lead strongly. Bajaj Auto, which was ranked second in September, slipped to third place this time, while TVS Motor occupied the second position. Let us know the electric two-wheeler sales figures for October 2024.
Total retail sales in the electric two-wheeler segment in October 2024 were 1,39,031 units. This is a big increase compared to last year. A total of 75,164 units were sold during the festive season in October 2023, while this year an annual growth of 85% has been recorded.
Ola Electric got monthly growth of 68.34%
Ola Electric sold 41,606 units in October 2024, while it sold 24,715 units in September 2024. On monthly basis it has got an increase of 68.34%. At the same time, on an annual basis, a growth of 74.15% was recorded compared to October 2023, when Ola had sold 23,891 units.
TVS motor stood second
TVS Motor has reached the second position in October 2024. This month the company sold 29,912 units, whereas in September this figure was 18,216 units. This gave it a monthly growth of 64.21%. At the same time, compared to 16,507 units sold in October 2023 on an annual basis, the company has achieved a growth of 81.21%.
Bajaj Auto sold a total of 28,223 units in October 2024, while 19,196 units were sold in September. It got an increase of 47.03% on monthly basis. On an annual basis, the company had sold 9,070 units in October 2023, and this year it got a huge growth of 211.17%.
There has also been an increase in the sales of Ather Energy. In October 2024, Ather sold 15,991 units, while in September its sales were 12,828 units. This gave it a monthly growth of 24.66%. On an annual basis, an increase of 88.48% has been recorded as compared to 8,484 units in October 2023.
Hero MotoCorp sales increased by 69.20%
Hero MotoCorp sold 7,311 units in October 2024, which is 69.20% more than 4,321 units in September 2024. On an annual basis, the company has registered a growth of 277.44% as compared to 1,937 units in October 2023, which is the highest annual growth.
Greaves Electric/Ampere sold 4,006 units in October 2024, which is 41.96% higher than 2,822 units in September 2024. However, it faced a decline of 16.02% on an annual basis as compared to 4,770 units sold in October 2023.
Due to the festive season in the electric two-wheeler segment in October 2024, all the companies got good growth. However, companies like Greaves Electric faced decline on an annual basis. Ola Electric and TVS Motor strengthened their positions with strong performances, while Hero MotoCorp achieved the biggest YoY growth.
