The National Testing Agency on Sunday said CUET (UG) 2026 will be conducted across India and abroad in May next year.
NTA asked students to keep their Aadhar card details updated, adding that online applications will be started soon.
“Candidates are advised to visit the official websites regularly for updates,” NTA said.
According to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Aadhaar-based authentication will be mandatory for CUET UG 2026 registration. The agency said measures have been taken to prevent any mismatch between Aadhaar details and Class 10 records.
Details about CUET(UG) 2026
This exam will be available to students in 13 languages.
Program proposed under CUET (UG) And the syllabus can be checked on the official CUET portal.
On the website, syllabus is available for 37 papers, covering General Aptitude Test and 23 domain subjects ranging from Accounting to Sociology.
For the programmes, candidates can check on the CUET portal under the “Universities” tab, or on the official websites of the individual universities.

Documents required for CUET UG 2026 Registration
Aadhaar Card: The card should contain correct name, date of birth (as per class 10 certificate), latest photograph, address and father’s name updated.
UDID Card (For Persons with Disabilities): UDID card or disability certificate must be valid, updated and renewed if necessary.
Category Certificate: Certificates for EWS, SC, ST and OBC-NCL categories must be valid and updated.
NTA has already released the syllabus, list of courses and program details for CUET UG 2026 exam.
CUET UG 2026: How to Apply
Visit the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.
Go to “Candidates Corner” and click on CUET UG 2026 Registration.
Fill the required details and submit the application form.
Once submitted, candidates will be successfully registered for the exam.
CUET UG 2026 will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for admission to undergraduate programs in 47 central universities and more than 300 colleges across India.
