CTET 2024: Application process for CTET 2024 started, know when the admit card will be released central board of secondary education (CBSE) rescheduled the exam date on Friday. Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 CTET Exam 2024 has been postponed due to administrative reasons. As per the official notification, now CTET Exam 2024 will be held on 15th December (Sunday). Earlier this exam was scheduled to be held on 1st December.
Candidates should note that if the number of candidates in any city is high then CBSE Board can also conduct the examination on 14th December.
“This is in continuation to this office letter No. F. No. CBSE/CTET/December/2024/E-73233 dated 13.09.2024 wherein it was notified that the 20th edition of CTET is scheduled on 01st December, 2024 in 136 cities all over the country. Now, due to administrative reasons, the CTET has been rescheduled to 15th December, 2024 (Sunday).”
If the number of candidates in any city is high, the examination may also be held on December 14, 2024,” the notification said.
It is important to note that the CBSE board has already opened the online application process for the CTET December 2024 exam from September 17, and the last date for submission of applications is September 17. Online Application It is till 11.59 pm on 16 October.
Candidates should note that the CBSE board has reduced the number of exam cities to 136 for the December edition, while in the July edition the exam was conducted in 184 cities.
CTET 2024: Exam Schedule
CTET 2024 will be conducted in two shifts. Paper II will be conducted in the morning shift which will begin at 9:30 am and end at 12 noon, while Paper I will be conducted in the evening shift, which will run from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
CTET Registration 2024: Exam Fee
Exam Fee Last date for registration for CTET exam Rs 1000 for Paper I or II only and 1200 for both Paper I & II for General/OBC(NCL) category candidates. The exam registration fee is Rs. 500 for one paper only and For SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs 600 for both papers.
CTET Registration 2024: How to Apply Online?
- Visit the official website of CTET, ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the “Apply Online” registration link appearing on the home page
- After clicking on the link, register yourself on the new page that opens
- Fill in the online application form and note down the Registration No./Application No.
- Upload latest scanned photograph and signature
- Pay the Exam Fee Through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking
- Submit and download the page.
- Print the confirmation page for records and future reference
Candidates must note that they must enter their details like name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth exactly as per their Class 10th certificate. No request for any change will be accepted under any circumstances after the expiry of the date specified for online correction.
