Resuming all the pomp and pageantry for the Golden Wave Concert for the first time in four years, the weekend music festival has finally overcome the COVID-19 scare.
Many South Korean concerts will return to the stage for the 2024 Golden Wave in Taiwan show, which will be held at the Kaohsiung National Stadium. The inaugural 2020 edition of the concert series was held online as a hopeful symbol to spark joy among fans at home. The online contact concert previously opened the stage for AB6IX, CIX, Kim Jae Hwan, Park Jihoon, and Pentagon. During the event, artists communicated with their fans through real-time comments.
However, as the scene has improved, a greater range of artists will gather on the stage in Taiwan.
The second K-pop concert ceremony overall and the first in-person Golden Wave celebration will be hosted by rising actor Chu Young Woo, who debuted in the 2021 LGBTQ series You Made Me Dance. He eventually cemented his mesmerizing charm through his drama Oasis, which earned him the Best New Actor trophy at the 2023 KBS Drama Awards.
