CLAT 2026 Result Date: The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) will declare the results of CLAT 2026 on December 17, an official said. The result is likely to be released on the official website by 10 am. Once declared, candidates will be able to check their CLAT 2026 results at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 was conducted on December 7 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating colleges across the country.
This year, around 92,000 candidates had registered for the exam. Of these, around 75,009 appeared for the undergraduate examination, while 17,335 candidates appeared for the postgraduate examination.
CLAT 2026 Result: How to check?
Candidates can download their CLAT 2026 scorecard by following these simple steps:
step 1: Visit the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
step 2: Click on CLAT 2026 Result link on the homepage.
step 3: Enter your registered mobile number and password.
step 4: Submit details.
Step 5: CLAT 2026 result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
The CLAT scorecard will contain important details including candidate’s name, parents’ names, roll number, application number, marks secured, overall rank and category-wise rank.

CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern: UG and PG
Both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates appeared for 120 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
Undergraduate (UG) CLAT 2026
- Total Questions: 120
- Sections: English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques
- Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer, -0.25 mark for each wrong answer
Post Graduate (PG) CLAT 2026
- Total Questions: 120
- Topics included core law areas like Constitution, Contract Law, Jurisprudence, IPC, Torts and others
- Marking Scheme: Same as UG
