He explains that it is a doctor’s degree which carries different responsibilities from a medical doctor. After passing this course, graduates can also write Doctor in front of their name.

After doing this course, you can make a career in fields like Sports Physiotherapy, Gynecological Physiotherapy, Ortho Physiotherapist and Pulmonary Physiotherapy.
There are many universities and colleges in the state to pursue this course and some of them are prominent. This course is available in almost all medical colleges. Some universities also offer separate courses in this field. Interested candidates can do BPT course from University of Medicine Science Saifai, Motilal Nehru Medical College Prayagraj, Banaras Hindu University, KGMU Lucknow and others. If you have done it from a government college, then the fee for this four-year course is Rs 35,000 per semester. The per semester fee to study in a semi-government college is Rs 75,000.
Dr. Ashok Kushwaha says that this course is very beneficial for the students. The government is also making a lot of efforts to expand this sector. There is also a diploma course in physiotherapy. For admission to BPT, one has to appear for Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET). In which colleges are allotted to the students according to the ranking. Under this examination, admission is given in Bachelor and Post Graduation. Applications for CPET are starting from April 30 and will end on June 10.
