Bengaluru. India’s largest multilingual and affordable indigenous Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) platform ‘Hanuman’ was launched on Friday. It is available in 98 global languages including 12 Indian languages. These 12 Indian languages are Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Sindhi. Apart from this, the ‘Hanuman’ platform will support 80 other languages like English, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean.
This AI tool has been developed by generative AI company SML India in partnership with Abu Dhabi-based investment company 3AI Holding. This app is now available for download in India. Android users can download it from Play Store. It will soon be available on the App Store for iOS users.

‘What is GenNI Hanuman?’
Actually, ‘Hanuman’ is also an AI tool like OpenAI’s ChatGPT. With this you can ask any kind of question. However, it is not known at the moment whether this tool will create photos from text like ChatGPT and Google Bard.
Vishnu Vardhan, Co-Founder and CEO, SML India, said, “’Hanuman’ represents a new era of AI innovation in India. Our target is to benefit 20 lakh users in a year.
He said that 80 percent of Indians do not understand English properly. Keeping this in mind, ‘Hanuman’ also supports Indian languages. On this occasion, Arjun Prasad, Managing Director of ‘3AI Holding’ said that ‘Hanuman’ platform will ensure that AI does not remain the privilege of only a few, but becomes an accessible tool for every Indian.
