Daredevil: Born Again is set in MCU, but also serves as a continuity of the original Daredevil series running 2015-18.
Daredevil: Birth again marks the full entry of the Satan of the Hell of Hales Kitchen in the MCU. This character has appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Xi-Halk in Camos, but the first time in the new Disney+ series Daredevil will have its show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Alden Henson and Charlie Cox on Daredevil: Born again
The show not only watches Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin), but also of the dear characters Fogi Nelson and Karen Page. Alden Henson and Debora N Wole made a comeback to resume their respective roles in the series.
Talking about his return as fogi Nelson after more than six years, Henson says, “It was really special for me because you don’t normally do such work.” Playing foggy is a pleasure. The actor says that the sudden cancellation of the Netflix show in 2019 meant that his characters never closed. “I love the character very much and are able to come back and do so that it is really good after time, because when it was finished, we didn’t know that it was going to end,” he says.
Charlie was happy to welcome his co-stars in the cox firm. “It’s very special,” he says, “It was not right for these characters in the series. It was a great way to close it with fogi, karen and mat in good souls, and things are going well. The script said literally, ‘Years are compassionate for them,’ and how my first note ‘and why?’ I laughed because the year was never kind to these people.
