According to reports, Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission State Service Examination (CGPSC) has announced the recruitment drive for the posts of Sub-Inspector, Subedar and Platoon Commander. Interested candidates can visit https://psc.cg.gov.in to check about the drive. The registration window opened today and will remain open till November 21.
According to the notification, there are 278 seats for Sub-Inspector, 19 seats for Subedar post, 11 seats for Special Branch Sub-Inspector, 14 seats for Platoon Commander, 4 seats for Sub-Inspector Fingerprint, 4 seats for Sub-Inspector Post. There are 11 seats for this. Inspector Question Document, five seats for Sub-Inspector Computer and nine seats for Sub-Inspector Cyber Crime.
Educational qualification:
Candidates who want to apply for Sub-Inspector, Special Branch Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Sub-Inspector Computer and Cyber Crime For the posts of Sub-Inspector Cyber Crime, candidates should have BCA or B.Sc degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
Age Limit:
Candidates who are interested to apply for this Chhattisgarh Police Recruitment must be between 21 to 28 years as on January 1, 2024. Additional relaxation of 5 years in age will be provided. Additionally, OBC, SC and ST candidates will get additional relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit as per Central Government norms.
Other Requirements:
The minimum height for male candidates is 168 cms. Chest measurement of the candidates should be 81 cm without expansion and 86 cm with expansion.
The minimum height for female candidates is 151 cms.
Physical Examination:
The physical test will include competitions like long jump, high jump, shot put, 100 meter sprint and 1500 meter run.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates for this Chhattisgarh Police Recruitment will consist of a Physical Test, a Physical Efficiency Test and a Written Test. After the written examination the candidates will have to sit for the final personal interview.
