The Ministry has also underlined the importance of mental health assistance in schools. In addition to physical security, it has been said that emotional and psychological welfare should be preferred through consultation services, colleague support systems and provisions of active community engagement.
“Any dangerous situation, miss, or children or youth should be informed to the specified state or UT authority within 24 hours.
The instructions also asks parents, parents, community leaders and local bodies to be vigilant and reports unsafe status not only in schools but also in public sector and transport systems used by children.
“The ministry has urged education departments, school boards and affiliated officials to work without delay in implementing the above measures,” the official said.
