The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the class 10th and 12th results 2024 today, May 13. This year 87.98% have passed class 12th exam and 93.60% have passed class 10th. This is a slight increase from the previous year’s pass percentage for both classes. This year also girls have performed better than boys. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the CBSE students. To students who did not score as many marks as expected, the PM said, “This is just a milestone in your journey.”

This year, CBSE conducted the class 10th exams from February 15 to March 13. Students can check their scorecard on the official website. cbseresults.nic.in Once it was announced. Students can also check and download their result here results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.nic.in, results.gov.inOr through SMS service and DigiLocker.
To pass the exam, candidates must obtain a minimum of 33 marks out of 100 in each subject. In both practical and theory subjects, candidates need to score 33 percent marks in both separately to successfully pass the exam.
For Mathematics, Science, Social Science and English Theory exams, students must score 27 out of 80. However, for practical examinations, all candidates must score at least 6 marks out of 20 to pass the examination.
CBSE works with a 9-point grading system (from A1 to E) based on the marks obtained by each candidate. A1 is the highest grade achievable while students who fail the exam will be given grade E. The top 1/8th passed candidates will be awarded grade A1, similarly the next 1/8th will be awarded grade A2. Grades B1 and B2 will be awarded to the candidates passing next 1/8th. Similarly, the following 1/8th passed candidates will be given C1-C2-D1-D2 grades. Those who fail the exam will be given grade E.
