Students who will be selected for the scholarship will receive an amount of ₹1000/- per month
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited ‘online applications’ from eligible students for the Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship Scheme in an official notification.
Students can submit their online applications on the official website cbse.gov.in For CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 Scheme, i.e. passed class 10th from CBSE in 2024 and studied class 11th from CBSE affiliated schools. Students who wish to renew their scholarship can also submit their online application.
About Scholarship Scheme:
The Board aims to provide scholarships to meritorious female students who are the only children of their parents and have passed the CBSE Class X examination with 70% or more marks and are pursuing their further schooling in class XI and XII. Keeping.

eligibility criteria:
- All single girl students who have secured 70% or more marks in CBSE Class X examination and studying in class XI and XII in a school (affiliated to CBSE) whose tuition fee does not exceed Rs. 2,500/- per month during the academic year, are eligible to apply.
- Tuition fees in classes XI and XII should not exceed Rs. 3,000/- per month.
- NRI applicants of the Board are also eligible for the award. Tuition fee for NRI is maximum Rs. 6,000/- per month.
- Students with gross parental/family income up to Rs. 8 lakh per year are eligible for scholarship under the scheme.
Details regarding renewal:
Students who have already availed the scholarship can also renew it after one year (after completion of class XI) and the candidate also obtains 70% or more marks in aggregate in the examination.

Students who are selected for the scholarship will receive the amount 1000/- per month
