The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to end the Class 12 examinations tomorrow, April 2. The final examination for the academic year 2023-24 will be Computer Science and Informatics Practice Paper.
CBSE Class 12 Science stream exams started on February 27 with Chemistry paper. The final examination of Computer Science paper is to be held on April 2. The board conducted the Hindi Elective and Hindi Core papers on February 19, while the English Elective and English Core exams were held on February 22.

In the commerce stream, the main exam concluded on March 27 with the Business Studies paper. The examination started with Mathematics on 9 March. In the humanities stream, the last paper, Sociology, was held on Monday, April 1. In Arts stream, the main examination started on February 29 with Geography paper.

The board released the date sheet for the upcoming 2024 board exams for both class 10 and class 12. Candidates appearing for CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams across the country can now access the timetable.
Class 10 examinations were held between 15 February and 13 March. The three-hour exam began at 10:30 am and ended by noon. Class 10th main examination started on February 19 with Sanskrit paper. The last two exams were for Mathematics and Information Technology, which were held on March 11 and 13 respectively.

The next academic year of the board, 2024-25, is scheduled to start from April 1 and the board has released the Class 10 and 12 syllabus for this session. Candidates appearing for CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 board exams 2025 can download the syllabus for each subject by visiting the syllabus section on the official website cbseacademic.nic.in.

The board’s official notice dated March 22 said, “Schools are requested to share the syllabus 2024-25 available on the board’s website www.cbseacademic.nic.in with all students and teachers. CBSE syllabus for Class IX-XII 2024-25 can be viewed at the link-Secondary and Senior Secondary School Syllabus. https://cbseacademic.nic.in/curriculum_2025.html.”
The circular further said, “There will be no change in the syllabus and textbooks of other classes for the academic year 2024-25 commencing from April 1, 2024.”
