CAT 2024 registration begins today: Students who wish to apply for MBA courses in 2024 can apply online at iim.cat.ac.in. Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) will open the registration window for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 live on August 1, Thursday at 10 am.
As per the official notification of CAT 2024, the exam will be conducted in November 2024. Students can also check the exam schedule, eligibility and other details related to CAT 2024 exam.
The CAT 2024 exam will be conducted at exam centres located in 170 cities across the country. While registering for the exam, MBA candidates will get the option to select up to five cities for allocation of exam centres as per their preference. The list of exam cities may also change depending on the discretion of the CAT authorities.
Important Dates of CAT 2024 Exam
Students who wish to appear for the CAT 2024 exam in November this year need to consider the following dates related to the exam.
Start of registration: The registration for CAT 2024 will begin on August 1 at 10 am.
Registration Closes: Registration will close on September 13 at 5pm.
CAT 2024 Admit Card Download: CAT 2024 applicants can download their admit card after November 5, 2024.
CAT 2024 Exam Date: The exam will be held on November 24.
CAT 2024 Exam Eligibility
-As per the CAT 2024 notification, the candidate must possess a graduation degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories). The degree should be awarded by any university or educational institution.
-Candidates studying in the final year of graduation can also apply for this exam. Candidates who are waiting for the result can also apply for it.
-Candidates applying for CAT 2024 must fulfil any one of the conditions mentioned below:
a) Have completed graduation degree with required percentage of marks.
b) Have completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA (CMA)/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) with required percentage (as mentioned in the official notification).
c) Must be in final year of graduation degree with required percentage
