The results of the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test were declared on Monday afternoon – with 3,00,726 candidates qualifying the exam. The results can be checked on the official website of Bihar School Examination Board, secondary.biharboardonline.com.
results declared During a press conference led by BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore at 1:45 pm. 4,23,822 candidates appeared in the examination – 2,63,911 people took the eligibility test for class 9 and class 10 teachers. 1,59,911 candidates attempted Paper 2 – Exam for Class 11 and Class 12 teachers. The passing percentage of both the exams taken together was 70.25.

All successful candidates are now eligible to appear for TRE 4. Teacher recruitment examination is conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission.
The BSEB STET results were declared even as the state officials indicated that the BPSC TRE 3.0 result would be available soon. This Bihar PSC School Teacher Recruitment Drive will fill 25,505 posts in the basic category of primary school and 18,973 posts in middle school. The exam was held in mid-July this year after being postponed in March. Re-examination was ordered for the recruitment drive after the original exam was canceled due to paper leak.
The commission will first release the results for primary and middle school teachers. After this, details of selected candidates for secondary school category will be given. A separate examination will be conducted for TRE 4 candidates seeking Senior School posts on the basis of BSEB STET results.
