The entire team of Border 2, including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanj, and Ahaan Shetty, are gathering in Pune to start the third program of the war film. The first group photo of the team was dropped on Tuesday, and it left fans with mixed feelings. Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty Join Border 2 Shoot
On Tuesday, the producers shared a picture of a group, giving an update about the film, with the actors. It was discovered that the third program of the war film is starting in Pune, in which Diljit and Ahaan Shetty are joining the team.
Sunny shared the image on her Instagram handle, wrote, “When all ‘force’ comes together!
For the first time, the entire cast of the film has come together for a group photo. Diljit, Ahaan, Sunny and Varun are seated in the picture, in which filmmakers are standing behind them. In the image, Varun is seen showing a new look, playing a mustache.
Ahaan’s sister Athiya re -prepared the image on her Instagram stories, cheering for her brother and wrote, “Can’t wait for this one”. A fan shared, “Waiting for eagerness”.
Some social media users feel that the Varun Group has a misfit and wrote, “Varun’s Jaga Pay Vicky Kaushal and Siddharth Malhotra Ko Cast Karna Thah (the creators should have been planted in Vicky Kaushal or Siddharth Malhotra instead of Varun)”.
“What Varun Dhawan is doing in this film,” wrote another. Meanwhile, social media users were pleased to see Diljit and mentioned “he stun” and “it would be good to see”.

Border 2 is the sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 blockbuster border. It will be titled by Sunny Deol. The film is being used by Anurag Singh, who earlier starred Akshay Kumar-Abhinit Kesari in 2019. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, JP Dutta and Neel Dutta, the film is scheduled to release on 23 January 2026.
The Prequel released in 1997 was determined during the 1971 India-Pakistan War period and actors Sunny, Jackie Shroff and Akshaye Khanna were included in the Pivolell roles. Ahaan’s father Sunil depicted the character of BSF Assistant Commandant Bhairon Singh in the film.
