New Delhi. Chinese-owned British carmaker MG has launched Hector Blackstorm Edition in India, with prices starting at Rs 21.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The new MG Hector Blackstorm Edition is based on the top-spec Sharp Pro variant and comes in both petrol and diesel options.
This new MG Hector Blackstorm Edition is the third sports utility vehicle to carry the Blackstorm moniker in the MG India range after the Aster Blackstorm and Gloster Blackstorm. The new Blackstorm version has been introduced on both Hector and Hector Plus models.

To make this Blackstorm Edition different from other variants of the SUV, its exterior has been given all-black paint. Additionally, red accents on the bumpers and red brake callipers are also provided here as a complement. Which is giving a striking appearance to the SUV. Talking about the interior, the cabin here showcases a Sangria and black theme, which is enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. Talking about special features, it includes a 14-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, climate control with rear AC vents, Level 2 ADAS, a digital instrument cluster and a comprehensive LED light package.
Customers can choose between a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine for the Hector and Hector Plus Blackstorm editions. The petrol version generates 141bhp and 250Nm of torque and is available with 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox options. On the other hand, the diesel variant generates 168bhp and 350Nm torque and is available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
