Bihar gets another Vande Bharat, Muzaffarpur-New Jalpaiguri train approved

Muzaffarpur. Bihar is getting another Vande Bharat train. It will run from Muzaffarpur to Jalpaiguri. The survey work has been completed. If everything goes well, this train will start running from October as per its scheduled schedule. With the start of this train, the distance of 10 hours will be covered in 6 hours.

There is good news for passengers travelling from Muzaffarpur to Jalpaiguri. Vande Bharat Express train is going to start from Muzaffarpur Junction to New Jalpaiguri from October. Preparations are being made for this. The railway had prepared a proposal to run Vande Bharat Express from Muzaffarpur to New Jalpaiguri, Tatanagar, Ranchi and Banaras. A survey was conducted regarding this. Now it will be started soon.

446 km distance covered in six hours
In the survey, most passengers suggested running Vande Bharat Express between Muzaffarpur and New Jalpaiguri. A Vande Bharat Express is already running from Sonpur Railway Division. Patna-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express passes through many stations of Sonpur Railway Division. Now with the launch of the new Vande Bharat train, the distance of 446 km between Muzaffarpur-New Jalpaiguri will be covered in six hours. Vande Bharat Express will run at a speed of 130 km on this route.

118 km long railway line upgrade
The Vande Bharat train running from Muzaffarpur will also reach New Jalpaiguri via Begusarai, Katihar and Kishanganj. The distance from Muzaffarpur to Begusarai is 118 km. Only 118 km long railway line will be upgraded for the Muzaffarpur-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express. Vande Bharat is already running on the remaining 328 km long route. For this, track maintenance is going on from Muzaffarpur to Barauni.

Getting to Darjeeling just got easier
Passengers will be able to travel from Muzaffarpur to New Jalpaiguri in just six hours with the new Vande Bharat Express, while other trains take ten hours to travel. Ten trains running between North India and the Northeast states go to New Jalpaiguri via Muzaffarpur. A large number of people from Bihar live in New Jalpaiguri and its surrounding areas. A large number of people also go to Darjeeling and other hill stations via New Jalpaiguri for tourism. The railways have almost started its preparations after the Muzaffarpur-New Jalpaiguri survey.
