Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) released the date sheet for Class 10\Matric and Class 12\Intermediate for special and compartmental examinations for the academic year 2023-24.
Candidates willing to appear in these examinations can check the dates and schedule on the official website of the board, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. The schedule is also available on its official social media platforms.

Bihar Board Class 10 compartment exam is scheduled to start from May 4 and end on May 11 as per the schedule. Meanwhile, Class 12 exams will begin on April 29 and end on May 11. Both these examinations will be conducted in two shifts on all examination days. The first shift of the three-hour-long exam will start at 9.30 am and end at 12:15 to 12:45 pm, while the second shift will start at 2 pm and end at 4:45 to 5:15 pm.

The results of Bihar Board matriculation examination were declared on 31 March. A total of 16,64,252 students appeared for the Class 10 examination, which included 8,58,785 girls and 8,05,467 boys. The passing percentage stood at 82.91 percent as 13,79,842 students passed the exam.

Shivankar Kumar of Purnia district was declared topper with 489 marks, while Adarsh Kumar of Samastipur stood second with 488 marks. Four students, namely Aditya Kumar, Suman Kumar Purve, Palak Kumari, Shazia Parveen; Got third place because everyone got equal marks. Bihar Board released the list of 51 students, out of which 23 are girls while 28 are boys who are in the top 10 list.

Intermediate result was declared on 23 March. A total of 1,291,684 students appeared for the exam, while 1,126,439 students passed the exam. As a result, the overall passing percentage was 87.21 percent.
