The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has doubled the prize money given to the top 10 rank holders of the class 10th or Matric final examination and has also increased the amount of monthly scholarship to be provided to them.

A total of 123 students of Bihar Board Class 10th Final Examination are in the top 10 merit list this year with the results declared on Saturday, 29 March on Saturday, 29 March.

Those who enroll in state/central government institutions will get scholarship for two years (classes 11 and 12). Those who enroll for technical or diploma courses will receive scholarships until it is over.
This year, the overall pass percentage is 82.11 percent. As 1558077, students took the exam and 1279294 failed for 278783.

Boys have improved girls in Bihar Board Class 10th exam. The pass percentage of male students is 83.65 percent while this is 80.67 percent for female students.
