Lalit Narayan Mithila University, LNMU, will close the registration window for counselling of 2-year B.Ed course today, July 20. Eligible candidates willing to participate in the counselling process can submit their applications on the official website of LNMU at biharcetbed-lnmu.in.
While registering, candidates will be given the facility to choose and give preference of colleges/institutions.
After the closure of the registration window, LNMU will release the first round allotment result on July 25, 2024.
Candidates can confirm their allotted seat by paying a confirmation fee of Rs 1000. 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only) which will be non-refundable from 26th July 2024 to 9th August 2024.

The first stage paper verification and admission to the respective college/institute will be held on July 26, 2024, and August 10, 2024.
The official guidelines released by LNMU states that “Selection of colleges and preferences is a one-time process. Once a candidate is allotted a college, he/she will not be considered for subsequent counselling.”
“Reservation rosters are applicable only in government and constituent colleges. In minority colleges, 50% of seats are reserved for the respective minority candidates. It is necessary to select at least 3 colleges from one or all universities,” the notice said.
Also, as per the notice, applicants can select a maximum of 9 colleges from one or all universities. Minority applicants (Muslim/Christian) are required to select at least one college from the respective minority colleges.
It is noteworthy that the registration for Bihar B.Ed Counselling has started from 11th July 2024.
