New Delhi. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is believed to be a flagship smartphone of the Galaxy S25 series. At present, there is some time left for the launch of this series. Earlier, information has started coming out through leaks. Now a new leak has revealed that two new sensors can be found in the Ultra variant, which will improve the capability of ultra-wide-angle and telephoto cameras. At the same time, an old report also claimed that the upcoming handset may retain the 200MP camera as before.
Tipster Sperandio4Tech has revealed through a post in X that the ultra-wide-angle and telephoto sensors of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra may get an upgrade. The tipster claims that the current ultra-wide-angle sensor of the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be replaced with a new version of the 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor. According to the claim, the new sensor will be smaller than the old one. Also, it has been claimed in the post that the resolution of the new sensor will increase to 50MP instead of the old 12MP.

Talking about the second upgrade i.e. telephoto lens, it has also been claimed that it will get a new 1/3-inch Isocell sensor, which will be slightly larger than the existing sensor. Also, the tipster has also claimed that the resolution will increase from the current 10MP to 50MP. However, the optical zoom capability will remain 3x. Also, the tipster has also claimed that a new algorithm is also being prepared for the smartphone. However, not much detail has been given about this.
Earlier this week, a report claimed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra could get a quad-camera setup with a 200MP primary camera like before. At present it is not clear whether there will be any upgrade in the periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. In the same report, it was also said that the primary rear camera of the Samsung Galaxy S25 will be a 50MP sensor like the current model.
