BHU clerk recruitment 2025: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) officially Group C. Under this, the application process has been initiated for the recruitment of Junior Clerk posts. Candidates can apply online for 199 vacancies through the official website of the university, bhunt.samartha.edu.in, or through the direct link given below. The time limit for online submission of application and fee payment has been scheduled for April 17, 2025.
Applicants also require to send the application form downloaded with essential enclosures at the address specified by April 22, 2025.
BHU Recruitment 2025: Post Description and Eligibility
The objective of the recruitment drive is to fill 199 junior clerk posts in various departments in BHU. The salary level level -2 for the post is, with a salary limit of Rs 19,900 -63,200 in the salary matrix.
To be eligible for the role, candidates must be second graduate graduates and at least six months computer training from certified institute. Alternatively, a second class graduation with a computer diploma recognized by AICTE will also be considered.
Computer typing test
Candidates will have to undergo computer typing tests as part of the selection process. The test will be of a qualified nature. It is mandatory to pass 30 words typing speed per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.

For candidates for UR, EWS and OBC categories, a non-worthy application fee of Rs 500 is applied. Candidates related to SC, ST, PWBD and women categories have been exempted from the application fee. Online payment can be paid through gateway, accepting internet banking, debit card, credit card and UPI.

The selection process involves a written test, followed by computer proficiency test and skill test. These assessments will evaluate the computer skills of candidates including proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word. The skill testing will assess the ability of the candidates to perform common office functions, such as making presentations, formatting tables and graphs and working with various document facilities.
Candidates will be shortlisted for skill testing based on their performance in written tests, and several rounds can be held to fully assess their abilities.
