Washing machine has made our work easy. Earlier it used to take hours to wash clothes, but now the work is done in a few minutes. Washing bedsheets and curtains at home not only takes time but also a lot of effort. People use the best detergent powder and liquid to get clean washed clothes. But there is one thing that people usually do not pay attention to and make mistakes while washing clothes. Actually we are talking about the filter of the washing machine. A filter is provided inside the washing machine which collects thread, cotton and dirt when the clothes are washed.
It is advisable that whenever you put clothes in the washing machine and turn it on, you must clean its filter once before that. Otherwise, what will happen is that the dirt and threads stuck in the filter get stuck to the clothes being washed. If there is a cloth in which fabric like cotton sticks easily, then it becomes very difficult to clean such clothes.
Especially if you have washed towels, blankets and any warm clothes, then the lint gets into its filter and then when you put other clothes in the slot, they get stuck in it.
How do I know where the filter is?
Move your fingers around in the washing tub and when you find the filter, gently pull it out. Be careful not to get your fingers or nails stuck. They are mesh-like in appearance.
If you open the filter, you will find threads and cotton stuck in it. You can remove it dry and if you want, immerse the filter in water for a while and then clean it by rubbing it with a brush.
