Two new reels feature on Instagram
New Delhi. TikTok, which has made a special place in the hearts of reels and video makers, may be banned in America. Capitalizing on this opportunity, Instagram has added two new reels features on the platform. Actually, Insta wants TikTok users to come to Instagram after its ban. For this, Instagram has started improving its Reels platform. If TikTok is banned, TikTok users may migrate to Instagram in search of short-form video content options.
To take advantage of this opportunity, Instagram has announced two major updates to Reels. According to Instagram, initially both these features are being launched in America.

Which two new features
Instagram head Adam Mosseri posted a video message explaining the two features in detail. In the first update, a new way of social connection has been introduced for you to search content. Users will now be able to see what their friends and followers are watching directly in the Reels tab. A dedicated section in the top right corner will show Reels that their connections have liked or commented on, making it easier to spot trending content and join the conversation.
The second feature is focused on making communication easier. A new reply bar will appear alongside Reels, allowing users to start conversations about their favorite videos. This feature gives content creators more views, as their Reels can now reach beyond their follower base.
All eyes are on Instagram and other platforms over the weekend – to see how these changes affect user behavior and whether the platform can attract TikTok users to its platform.
