Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday defended his Ukraine’s aggressive, while blaming the West for triggering a three -and -a -half -year war in the west, killing tens of thousands and destroying the eastern Ukraine.
The news agencies said, “The crisis was not triggered by the Russian attack on Ukraine, but was the result of the coup in Ukraine, which was supported and instigated by the West,” Putin said at a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan (SCO) in the Chinese city of Tiazin, told by news agencies.
Putin Ukraine’s 2013-2014 supporters were referring to the European Revolution, which excluded the Russian supporter the President.
Moscow then responded to the Crimean Peninsula and supported the Russian-supporter separatists, triggering a civil war.
The Russian President said, “The second reason for the crisis is the continuous attempt of the West to pull Ukraine into NATO.”
Putin was speaking at the SCO summit, attended by Russian colleagues, including Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Iranian President Masaud Peseshkian.
Moscow and Beijing have postponed the SCO as an alternative to Western -led political and security blocks including NATO.
Putin said that the world needs a “system that would replace the old eurosenteric and euro-nallantic models, and take into account the widespread circles of the countries”.
He said, “We give immense importance to the efforts and proposals of China, India and our other strategic partners, which aims to contribute to resolve the Ukrainian crisis,” he said.
Despite US President Donald Trump’s arrival at an agreement to end the war despite urging Moscow and Kiev, peace proposals have provoked.
Putin has rejected the call for a ceasefire and fulfilled the hardline regional and political demands – Ukraine to reduce more region and abandon Western support – as a precondition for peace.
Kiev has forbidden him as a non-starter. The Russian leader said that he would discuss diplomacy with Trump in a series of bilateral meetings and to end his latest dialogue.
