On Monday, Shahrukh posted a BTS video from the sets on Instagram. It begins with his voice saying, “Bollywood is a city of dreams. But this city cannot be for everyone.” The clip shows Aryan completely engrossed in his work, wearing a camera holder. He is seen acting out each scene and directing the actors exactly what he wants. In a memorable moment, Aryan himself performed the action sequences and walked down the stairs to demonstrate how the scene should be played. The video also shows him instructing his father Shahrukh on how to approach specific moments.
Many stars have appreciated Aryan’s direction. Arshad Warsi, who plays Ghafoor, said, “He is one of those directors who can’t think small. He thinks big and shoots in detail. He shoots how a film should be shot. So it’s great.” Emraan Hashmi, playing himself and the intimacy coach, said, “He’s a stickler for perfection. What he wants, he gets, and I think that’s something I admire in a director.”
Gautami Kapoor shared, “He is so emotional that I told him, Aryan, a camera should be on you all the time, moving around. Because when he is explaining my character, he becomes Anu Talwar. When he is explaining Bobby’s character, he becomes Ajay Talwar, and he is very passionate about his job and work.”
