Amit Shah ‘deepfake’ video case: Telangana Chief Minister and Congress leader Revanth Reddy’s lawyer has denied allegations that the MLA had shared a morphed video. Revanth Reddy, who was summoned by Delhi Police for allegedly posting a video on Twitter, hit out at the BJP at a rally in Telangana, accusing him of retaliating against them for questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Reddy’s lawyer appeared before Delhi Police on Wednesday after summons were issued against Telangana Congress chief Reddy and four State Congress Committee members for allegedly posting videos on X.

A party spokesperson said on Wednesday that Jharkhand Congress President Rajesh Thakur has also been summoned by Delhi Police on May 2 in connection with the investigation.

Delhi Police has not received any response from X regarding the report on the IDs who shared the doctored video of Amit Shah.
