Akshay Kumar went on a lunch date with the Singham Again team. The actor will reprise the role of Sooryavanshi in the action-thriller starring Ajay Devgan.
Akshay Kumar went on a lunch date with the team of Singham Again on Thursday. The actor posted a picture of a happy moment with his co-stars on his Instagram handle. However, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were not present. And it had a special connection with Salman Khan. Akshay Kumar joins Singham Again team on lunch date
Akshay shared a picture in which he was accompanied by Ajay Devgan, Rohit Shetty, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor. Akshay and Arjun are seen laughing while having a light conversation. The former captioned her post, “Hum sab ne mil ke ki bahat si chulbul baatein (Today we all had many fun conversations)…#SinghamAgain.”
Referring to Chulbul (funny and mischievous in Hindi), Akshay also hinted at the name of Salman Khan’s character in the Dabangg franchise.
A fan commented, “Is this a sign that Chulbul Pandey is also a part of this film?” Another fan wrote, “Oh damn! Bhai (Salman Khan) is guaranteed in Singham.” A fan also wrote, “Salman Khan confirmed to enter Police universe… (fire and thumbs up emoji).” Expressing his excitement, a fan commented, “Chulbul Pandey ya dikh jaate to maje aa jaate.”
Salman Khan’s cameo in Singham again
There is speculation about Salman doing a cameo as Chulbul Pandey in Singham Again. However, after the actor received death threats following the recent murder of NCP politician Baba Siddiqui, his safety has been a major concern. Rumors of her leaving the Ajay starrer were put to rest after a correspondent of Rohit Shetty Films confirmed her cameo.
About Singham Again
Singham Again is the third installment of the Singham franchise and the fifth film in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. While Akshay and Ranveer are reprising the characters of Sooryavanshi and Simmba respectively, Deepika and Tiger are newcomers to the police universe. Arjun plays the antagonist in the film, which is a modern retelling of the Ramayana on the concept of the victory of good over evil. The film is directed and co-produced by Rohit Shetty, Devgan Films, Reliance Entertainment and Jio Studios.
Singham Again will release on 1 November 2024.
